Leroy F. Enzenbacher
A Mass for LeRoy F. Enzenbacher, 81, formerly of Mount Prospect, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, at St. Raymond Church, Mount Prospect, where he will lie in state from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass. Born Feb. 20, 1921, in Des Plaines, he died Thursday, Nov. 28, 2002, at Evanston Hospital. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery.
Mr. Enzenbacher was the former owner and operator of Lee's Meat Market, located at Pesche's Supermarket in Des Plaines. He was a longtime member of the Des Plaines Elks Club and former member of Knights of Columbus. He was a World War II Navy veteran, serving on the USS Sigsbee DD-502.
He is survived by his wife, Helene (nee Pesche); children, Monica (Fred) Thulin of Naperville, Michael (Sheila) Enzenbacher of Vernon Hills, Janis Enzenbacher of Nyack, N.Y., and Elizabeth (Robert) Van Schaick of Grayslake; grandchildren, Tiffany, Brandon, Justin, Garrett and Eva; and sisters, Elaine (James) Jackson of Phoenix, Ariz., and Florence (Clarence) Moore of Somunauk, Ill.
