William H. LaCroix, a longtime resident of Pelham, died October 26, 2003. He was 77. Mr. LaCroix was the owner of the LaCroix Venetian Blind Manufacturing Co. in Pelham, NY. Mr. LaCroix was a lifelong member of the American Legion and was a volunteer fireman. He was a US Navy Combat Veteran in Pearl Harbor. He is survived by his wife Lydia LaCroix; his sister Hilda Mastracio of Cape May, NJ; his two brothers and sisters-in-law Dominick and Marilyn Scazzero of Bronxville, NY and William and Elizabeth Scazzero of Elmsford, NY; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father and mother Harry and Hilda G. LaCroix and his stepsister Harriet Valois. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Sound Shore Medical Center or Volunteer Fire Department, Pelham, NY. Visiting hours will be held at the Pelham Funeral Home on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian Burial St. Catharine's Church on Thursday at 10 AM. Interment Kensico Cemetery.
