Barrett, Gordon S. 93, of St. Louis passed away on Feb. 14, 2013. He was born to George Barrett and Blanche Simpson on Jan. 17, 1920 in Lewiston, Idaho. He received degrees from University of Southern California and Carnegie Mellon. For 50 years, he was married to Myrtice Barrett. During World War II and the Korean War, Gordon served seven years in the Navy. He is survived by three children, Becca Barrett and Spencer Barrett (spouse of Hilary) of Portland Oregon and Laura Barrett (spouse of David) of St. Louis, and four grandchildren: Spencer, Brian, Anna and Alex. Services: Funeral service will be held Sunday, Feb. 17 at 4:00 p.m. at Second Presbyterian Church, 4501 Westminster Place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gamaliel or the Missouri Botanical Garden.
